My books might drive you a little crazy.

I purposefully leave one or two things open for readers to make up their own minds. I love hearing the theories people come up with. Sometimes they even surprise me and inspire future stories.

Answering every question ruins the mystery. And boy, do I love a good mystery.

Do you prefer traditional or old-fashioned fantasy prose?

Then skip, because my characters don’t speak like they swallowed a medieval dictionary.

I use modern commentary and humour to make high fantasy feel accessible without making the world itself feel modern. Expect magic and complicated histories, just told in a way that doesn’t require a glossary to get through chapter one.

Do you want heavy worldbuilding in your fantasy? This isn’t it.

Don’t get me wrong. I have a 100-page encyclopedia covering the history, geography, magic, mythology, and linguistics of my world.

But you’ll only see a fraction of it in my books. No lore dumps for you.
